Minggu, 04 Desember 2011Despite status as a guest team, Arsenal still look up to. Shown at Wigan in the English Premier League continued on Saturday (03.12.2012), Arsene Wenger was able to win 4-0.
Advantage Arsenal opened with goals scored by their midfielder, Mikel Arteta in the 28th minute. Spain's national midfielder managed to break Wigan goalkeeper who was escorted by Ali Al-Habsi.
Wigan have not lost the surprise top scorer Arteta, the Arsenal just managed to double the advantage, one minute later. This time it was Thomas Vermaelen who had listed his name on the scoreboard, after receiving a pass from Arteta. Score of 2-0 that lasted until the end of the first half.
In the second half Arsenal extended his lead through goals scored by Gervinho in the 61st minute. Team captain Robin van Persie to fulfill the host advantage over the tally in minute 78.
