Regent Sampang, Madura, East Java, sent a letter to the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration related to the existence of two workers in the region are under sentence of beheading in Saudi Arabia.
Head of Social Service Manpower and Transmigration (Dinsosnakertrans) Sampang Amrullah Malik, explaining Friday, the regents asked that the letter was the Indonesian government could seek the forgiveness of both its citizens.
"In addition to the Minister of Labour, the letter related to a plea for clemency Regent Sampang two workers were threatened with beheading sentence, also addressed to the Secretary of Nageri," he said.
Both workers are under sentence of beheading in Saudi Arabia were each named Jumariyah and Solehuddin, origin Mortonggak Hamlet, Village Ragung, District Pangarengan, Sampang district. Both had been serving a prison sentence in Saudi Arabia since July 2011, the result of homicide.
These couples terancan punishment beheaded by Saudi Arabian court for involvement in the murder case against his own colleagues in Saudi Arabia are also equally as migrant workers.
According to Chief Malik Dinsosnakertrans Amrullah, second TKI couple's departure is a migrant worker through official channels, namely PT Labor Service Company Devita Brothers is located in east Jakarta.
Both of these migrants has almost 14 years working in Saudi Arabia as workers. Solehuddin worked as a chauffeur, while his wife Jumariyah as chief of households in Saudi Arabia.
