TEHRAN - Iran's decision to terminate knocked crude oil exports to the six European countries. Britain and France became the first European country to be halted oil supplies.
Iran's Oil Ministry announced that it has cut its oil exports to the companies of England and France. Iranian Oil Minister, Rostam Qasemi, take it as a real action and not just a mere threat. This after they had previously warned and suggested the possibility to stop oil exports to certain European countries.
Iran's Oil Ministry spokesman, Alireza Nikzad Leader, said that Iran has no problem in exporting and selling crude oil to customers.
"We have our own oil customers. Replacement for British companies and the French have chosen,'' said Nikzad Press TV Rahbar was quoted as saying.'' We will sell crude oil to new subscribers who are not British and French companies."
